REWOVEN
I worked with UI/UX designer Bella Mancini and clothing designer Jessica Vo to create Rewoven, a clothing brand. I was responsible for graphic design, packaging design, video and photography. Rewoven is a clothing brand that upcycles people's old jeans, turning well loved pieces into timeless wardrobe staples.

I created organic designs meant to translate woven, crafted aesthetics. I focused on a textural feel particularly in regards to packaging. My goal was to reflect the sustainable company mission of Rewoven, as well as the bespoke hand-crafted essence of Jessica's designs.

I created tags for the jeans with care instructions. Here, I focused on capturing the textural element of jeans. Space was left for a hole to be punched in the top.

I chose an organic twine to thread through the top. I sourced this twine from local thrift stores to make sure most elements of our packaging was sustainable.
I also created stickers to place on top of the boxes. I wanted to rely on the organic appearance on cardboard for the majority of the packaging, the stickers serving as a brand indicator on the top of the box. I also created product number cards. When customers open their package, they can use these cards to look up their specific jeans sustainability information.
Inside the boxes, I included filler material sourced from a local art thrift store. Each box was hand packaged; a personal touch for each customer.
I also took photographs of each of our customers in their Rewoven jeans. My intent with this photoshoot was to capture energy and comfort, showing how well everyone fits and feels in their jeans. I set up a mini photography studio for this, and edited the photos to create crisp, clear silhouettes.
We did a number of photoshoots outside, showing the jeans in environment settings for social media and advertisement. Photos were edited to capture vibrant summer energy.
I also created video content to show each step of the Rewoven process. From the creation of the jeans, to how NFC tags are implemented in the final design. Each step is meant to candidly portray the handmade elements of Rewoven's business model.

These videos were uploaded to Rewoven's Youtube channel.

Through this project, I learned what it takes to take a brand from concept to execution. From planning the design and energy of the brand, to implementing design systems in marketing and website design, Rewoven was a project built from the ground up. We received invaluable  input from our peers and mentors, allowing us to make Rewoven a reality.
