ATLAS Expo is a yearly event hosted by the ATLAS Institute that showcases student work and research to the public. The event sees hundreds of attendees, and represents a culmination of the years work for the institution. I was tasked with creating a vibrant, unique marketing campaign to advertise the event to Boulder residents. I worked closely with designer Danny Rankin to bring this vision to life.
The ATLAS team sought to capture the wide breadth of projects showcased at ATLAS Expo, capturing key components of ATLAS' presence on campus.

We were encouraged to stretch was was possible with the brands image in order to differentiate ourself from other university programs.
I created a number of social media graphics to promote ATLAS Expo on ATLAS' social media, boosting engagement in the event. Slides were created to advertise the event across campus.
Programs were created to help visitors navigate through ATLAS Expo. We wanted to match the lively energy of ATLAS Expo, and utilized a vibrant color coding system to differentiate the wide variety of project rooms.
Map designs were essential to visitor navigation. Maps were designed based off the buildings layout, simplifying many complex areas of the ATLAS building so guests knew exactly where they needed to go.
Visitors were welcomed with signboards and TVs indicating that they had arrived at the event. We maintained visual cohesion with the rest of ATLAS Expo's branding to establish an event identity.
ATLAS Expo 2025 saw an 83% increase in social media engagement and hundreds visitors, a marked increase in traffic as compared to ATLAS Expo 2024. The event was a huge sucess, highlighting the hard work of ATLAS' students.
This project utilized a wide variety of technologies. Physical tools, such as laser cutting and embossed lettering, were combined with digital editing. All design assets were first physically laid out and photographed before being edited to create campaign materials.
